The community boasts many excellent Cosplayers and Costumers who love to don their outfits and teach the ways of the lightsaber. Conventions & Festivals
Since the beginning of 2016, Saber Combat Academy Ltd. has made appearances at Comic Conventions and Nerd-Culture Festivals across the South of England. Over that time, Saber Combat Academy Ltd. have created an engaging display of props, detailed recontructions of iconic items and costumes as well as a creative and exciting lesson plan for guests at these events. Feedback has always been positive and we always find that we are fully booked at events, as we are very popular as an activity for young and old alike.
Packages
Photo Opportunity and Display Package – £300 per single day hire (£150 per additional day*)
Booking our Photo Op Package is a great way to add depth and interest to your event without the loss of much space. For this package, we provide 2x 6ft tables with over 50 props and detailed items from the Star Wars movies and at least five costumed performers to interact with guests, answer their questions and pose for photographs with them infront of an engaging backdrop.
Combat School Package – £400 per single day hire (£150 per additional day*)
Booking our Combat School Package will allow us to attend your event and teach your guests the ways of the lightsaber. Instructors wear full costume and provide combat grade lightsabers like we use in classes for an immersive and special experience. The lessons can host up to ten individuals at once (space allowing) and last for up to half an hour, but can be adjusted to suit your requirements. The lessons focus on re-creating a specially designed choreographed scene that highlights safety, skill and control while being engaging, exciting and ultimately a lot of fun.
For this package, we will provide the same prop display as the photo op package and also lessons for guests throughout the day. We require a space of at least 5mx5m to operate safely, or a similar sized area.
*Additional dates must be contained within a singular event, i.e. a weekend event would cost £300+£150 for photo op bookings covering Saturday and Sunday.
Birthday, Stag/Hen Parties
The Saber Combat Academy Ltd. Party Package includes:
2 Hours Tuition, Games and Competiton.
3 Costumed Performers.
Spaces for up to 15 to learn the ways of the lightsaber.
The Party Package is a great way to host a private class with Saber Combat Academy Ltd. We will come to your area and provide two hours of combat tuition with our combat grade sabers, in full costume for that immersive experience. In the two hours, we will train you in basic combat, choreography of a small fight scene and then games and competitions. These parties are suitable for ages 6+ and we can cater for 15 individuals taking part.
This is a great opportunity to have a unique party for that Star Wars fan in your life.

Corporate Events & Team Building
What better way to encourage team work than by learning how to duel with the universe’s coolest weapon? We are available for hire for Corporate Events as performers and instructors to teach your team how to safely perform stunt and performance combat themed around the lightsaber. We provide a 4 hour session of training, performance and competition all to encourage group interaction and socialising with a common goal. With a focus on the Team aspect of battlefield formations and tactics, you could lead your work force to victory over the Dark Side!

Bootcamps & Tours
Saber Combat Academy Ltd. introduced the Bootcamp in 2023 and had a lot of fun with students across the South West. The Bootcamp is a single day, long-hire that allows us to teach groups more in-depth techniques and skills than in our short lessons at conventions etc. The Bootcamp is best ultilized by youth groups such as the Scouts, whom we had a wonderful time with across a 6 week period of lessons for their Troop. We have also been hired by charity groups wishing to put on a one-off experience for their service users. Due to the nature of the Bootcamp, they can tailored to exactly what you need, but the basic set up is:
At least 4 hours training with the lightsaber.
Multiple instructors for assistance and aid so everyone can take part.
Games, competitions and a focus on fun.
Bootcamp Hire – £35 per person, minimum 10 individuals, up to 20 maximum.
The Tour aspect of the Bootcamp is if we receive enough enquiries for Bootcamps, we will establish a Tour and be able to travel further afield to engage with people outside of our usual school areas. Should enough interest arise in an area on the tour, we can potentially set up a permanent school or add the area to a regular bootcamp slot.
